Gephra Sustaina
Last Updated: December 20, 2025
Operated by Gephra Ltd
Purpose
This policy protects workers across the supply chain and ensures that every vendor on Gephra Sustaina follows ethical labor practices and participates in fair, respectful trade relationships.
Scope
Applies to all vendors, artisans, cooperatives, manufacturers, distributors, and resellers operating on the platform.
Labor Standards Requirements
Vendors must ensure that:
- •All workers involved in production and sourcing are treated with dignity and respect.
- •Employment is voluntary with no forced, bonded, or child labor.
- •Workers receive fair wages that meet or exceed local legal minimum standards.
- •Working conditions are safe, hygienic, and non-exploitative.
- •Non-discrimination practices are followed throughout hiring and workplace processes.
- •Harassment, abuse, and unsafe conditions are not tolerated.
Fair Trade Expectations
Vendors should:
- •Engage in transparent, honest pricing and negotiation.
- •Work directly with producers where possible (especially artisans and communities).
- •Ensure revenue distribution models support fair livelihoods.
- •Avoid unfair markups, coercion, or misleading claims.
The platform encourages—but does not require for MVP—third-party fair trade certification.
Evidence & Verification
During onboarding or future audits, vendors may be required to:
- •provide payroll or wage records,
- •supply chain partner details,
- •factory/cooperative addresses,
- •or certification documents (if claimed).
Gephra Sustaina may suspend vendors who cannot support claims.
Continuous Improvement Principle
We recognize that supply chains differ across markets and economies. Vendors are encouraged to improve over time through:
- •safer working practices,
- •skill development,
- •wage growth,
- •local community reinvestment.
Customer Transparency
Relevant fair trade claims may appear on storefront sustainability pages.
